Review by hotel critic
During my recent business trip to the stunning Passo Tre Croci area, I had the pleasure of staying at the B&B Hotel Passo Tre Croci Cortina. Nestled high in the Dolomites at 1,800 meters, this spot is not only impossible to fault for its breathtaking mountain views, but it’s also central to some fantastic hiking trails, including the famed Lago di Sorapis hike—perfect for both fitness enthusiasts and those who love a bit of leisure. The rooms are modern and clean—definitely recently renovated, which added to the overall comfort. I especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including a rainfall showerhead that made for a refreshing experience after a long day out. Plus, being a pet-owner, having a pet-friendly option made it feel like a home away from home, as I had my four-legged friend in tow! Breakfast was a highlight with its generous all-you-can-eat buffet featuring everything from sweet pastries to hearty scrambled eggs. I loved how the hotel blends convenience with comfort, serving up delicious meals with a view that really sets the tone for your day ahead. What struck me most was how accommodating the staff were—always eager to share local tips and help us navigate our way around Cortina. With onsite parking and easy access to local buses, reaching nearby towns and trails was a breeze. This hotel is the ideal blend of practicality and charm for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the Alpine lifestyle. Definitely a place I’d return to for both business and pleasure!
